Challenge
The goal was to develop a completely new Shopware 6 shop that not only meets the requirements of a highly customized frontend but also seamlessly integrates with various systems such as SAP, FactFinder, Kronos, and Indigo (ERP). Additionally, a connection to the physical store (POS) was to be established to provide a holistic solution for both online and offline commerce.
Implementation
The newly developed Shopware 6 shop was built with a custom frontend that exactly matches the client's vision. The designs from a renowned design agency were translated into the digital world, revised from both UI and UX perspectives, and then technically implemented. Special attention was paid to user-friendliness and design to meet both aesthetic and functional requirements at the highest level.
A key feature is the integrated editorial section, which allows the management of editorial content and gives the shop a unique touch. This enriches the shop not only with products but also with content that strengthens the brand core.
The integration of numerous interfaces ensures seamless data and process exchange between the shop and the connected systems. For example, product data is imported from SAP, intelligent search and filtering functions are supported with FactFinder, and ERP processes are efficiently managed through Indigo. Additionally, a connection to the retail analytics tool Kronos is established, which allows store sales to be transmitted and data enriched.
Another highlight is the seamless connection to the Point-of-Sale (POS), enabling optimal integration of online and offline commerce. This ensures that inventory, sales, and customer information are synchronized in real time
