Challenge
The aim was to develop a comprehensive Typo3 system that would encompass several international websites and meet the specific requirements of different areas of the company. This also included the implementation of a multilingual system with a complex workflow for translations.
Implementation
The full-responsive relaunch of the multi-website comprised 7 individual websites, each available in 8 languages. These were implemented in a single Typo3 content management system, which is specially tailored to the different requirements of the business units. By using common structures, repetition could be avoided and maintenance costs significantly reduced, while still allowing the editorial teams to customize their content.
A flexible grid system enables simple and flexible content design. Virtually all aspects of the website, including menus and footers, can be customized. In addition, special adjustments have been made, such as in the news section, the connection to the customer's CRM system, forms and the address and sales network. Another special feature is the drag & drop cable and product configurator as well as an import/export workflow that enables the integration of professional external translations, especially for the Chinese language.
To ensure that the system meets the latest security and performance standards, updates are carried out at regular intervals - we have already accompanied a version update to the Typo3 system 11.
We also support the continuous maintenance of content to ensure that the website is always up to date.
